Everyday Martina and Jim help Monitor’s customers to optimize their workflows and provide them with solutions that make a big difference. As Adaptation Advisors they work on everything from needs analysis and requirements specification to project management and delivery – with the customer’s business at the center of everything they do.

Between the both of them, they have years of hands-on Monitor experience after using Monitor daily in their previous jobs – Jim for over twelve years, and Martina for more than nine years.

“After having used Monitor for many years, I wanted to learn more. Monitor felt like the right place – stable and full of possibilities,” explains Martina.

“Monitor used to make my workday much easier, so when I moved to Hudiksvall, it felt as though working here was the right thing to do” says Jim.

As Adaptation Advisors, they have a varied role that involves sales, project management, coordinating and requirements specification – with a lot of customer contact. They’re responsible for planning, leading, and following up on customer projects from start to finish.

“Getting to contribute to the development and optimization of customers’ processes and both inspiring and meaningful. We’re always learning something new, and the role gives us an insight into our customers’ businesses,” they add.

Since they started, the role of Adaptation Advisors has grown significantly.

“We have created new routines and guidelines for how we work, both internally and when working with customers. This has given more structure to our work processes and improved both the efficiency and quality of what we deliver.”

They describe the role as challenging and fulfilling.

“The best thing about the job is getting to solve problems together, sharing ideas, and seeing the results of your work. The combination of commitment, collaboration, and humor makes the job a lot of fun and rewarding,” explain Martina and Jim.
