Meet Adrian Aptowitzer, our new CEO for Monitor ERP Sweden

On January 1, 2024, Adrian Aptowitzer stepped in as the new CEO for Monitor Sweden. He began his career at Monitor in 2012 and most recently worked as Consultant Manager. Adrian is a highly appreciated, transparent, and inspiring leader among his colleagues, and is going to play a key role in strengthening our business and presence on the Swedish market.

Congratulations on becoming CEO, how does it feel?
“It feels amazing. I am humbled and grateful for the role and am really looking forward to contributing and continuing my development journey with Monitor. It feels inspiring to be entrusted with leading Monitor, which is a fantastically well-run company with a great history of development, which has been led with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has excellent potential for the future.”

How do you see the role of CEO?
“In my role as CEO, I’m going to continue being myself, being honest and open. I hope that my colleagues also share these values. For me, leadership involves an ongoing process where I, as leader, influence the team towards a common goal, as per our business plan. We have a clear vision – to be the first choice when it comes to ERP systems. We are going to continue being strong competition on the market and being an attractive employer, where our colleagues feel involved and contribute to our success.

I also aim to create a work environment where all our fantastic employees are happy and feel seen and heard. We have a high level of competence among our employees at the company, and I have a lot of respect for that. At the same time, we need to continually work on developing our skills, both regarding attracting new talents and strengthening the competence among our existing employees. That is something I want to commit myself to.”

What areas are you going to concentrate on?
“I’m going to put a lot of emphasis on continuing to build and develop the company. We have a strong and capable team in Sweden, with committed colleagues, which gives us a great foundation on which to continue building the organization. I want us to continue concentrating on the development of our concept, with a product which gives the highest value to our customers. Then we will continue working on our goals of creating a sustainable and pleasant workplace which will be attractive for many years to come. I look forward to taking an active role in further developing our company in Sweden, considering the successful concept of the head office in Hudiksvall, which I strongly believe in and want to keep.

It's an advantage that we now have a Swedish leadership group which makes it possible to have an increased focus on the Swedish market. At the same time, our organization in Sweden forms the core of our global business, and we are going to actively support and develop the business in all our 12 subsidiaries around the world. Our business culture is fantastic, and I seek to continue working with and strengthening our values: down to earth, forward-thinking and committed. Working actively with our business culture is extremely important to me, and I want to continue prioritizing this.

By focusing on these areas and investing in the growth and cooperation we are going to strengthen Monitor Sweden’s position and continue offering innovative solutions and the absolute best service to our customers.”

How do you see the future?
“We have a very bright and promising future. We have an enormous potential for growth both in Sweden and on other markets, and a concept which is very attractive for both existing and potential customers. Despite challenges in an ever-changing branch, it’s important that we keep a steady pace and continue being the number one choice when it comes to ERP systems. That stresses the importance of having dedicated employees.

We need to be forward thinking in everything we do. If we achieve this, we’re going to reach new heights and continue expanding our influence and presence on the Swedish and international markets.
