Monitor ERP has won the 2022 edition of the ERP System of the Year award, in Potsdam, Germany, in the category for manufacturing companies. The jury was won over by Monitor’s plans in the area of sustainability, to adapt the system for more environmentally friendly production.

Monitor ERP System continues to rapidly expand. Company turnover in 2021 was 17 percent, which meant yet another record year.

On April 19, the Factory Innovation Awards were presented at the Hannover Messe. Monitor ERP took first prize in “The Sustainable factory” category. The winner was chosen by an independent jury of experts. The decisive factors in the category were functions in the area of sustainability reporting and carbon dioxide emission calculation.

At Monitor ERP System, we take sustainability seriously and have taken significant steps to meet the demands of sustainability and environmental awareness. With Sustainability by Monitor, we are taking a big step forward. By using Sustainability by Monitor, our customers will be able to measure their environmental impact, evaluate it and take strategic measures to reduce emissions and consumption of resources. After a year of work, it is now an integral part of our ERP system, with Fredrik Tåneland as one of the developers involved.

We’re currently expanding strongly in Asia and are therefore very pleased to have been awarded the prestigious Chinese Manufacturing IT Application Appraisal – an award in China that recognizes the most innovative and efficient IT systems in the manufacturing industry.

In conjunction with the European Film Festival (EUFF) 2022, the Embassy of Sweden, Sunway College of Fashion Design, and Miss Amazing Malaysia, a local NGO that strives to empower girls and women with disabilities, held a film screening of the Swedish documentary – CATWALK, a showcase on sustainable upcycle fashion line of adaptive clothing, and a networking reception on November 10 at GSC Gurney Plaza, Penang.

A prominent player in the automotive industry and a total supplier of sheet metal components, Nitator is one of the test pilots currently exploring Monitor ERP System’s new functionality, Sustainability by Monitor. Sustainability by Monitor is an environmental tool which helps companies to accurately measure their environmental impact and implement sustainability measures.

At a time when sustainability is becoming increasingly important, it’s crucial that companies and organizations actively strive to reduce their environmental impact. National, a company specializing in manufacturing high-quality rubber, plastic, and fiber products, has taken this seriously and is now one of the test pilots for the new environmental functionality in Monitor ERP – Sustainability by Monitor – which will be launched shortly. Sustainability by Monitor helps companies to measure their environmental impact, evaluate the results and take strategic measures to reduce emissions and consumption of resources.

For the sixth straight year, Monitor took the title of Sweden’s best ERP system at the Logistik och Affärssystem (Logistics and ERP Systems) event in Värnamo. The competition is the biggest for ERP systems in Sweden, and all ERP system providers are invited to take part. Monitor was a clear winner, with Microsoft and SAP sharing second place.

Sweden’s biathlon team competes globally at the very highest level. Reaching this standard requires incredible commitment, and challenges biathletes to be consistent and maximize every area of their performance to achieve the best results.

Monitor ERP is the champion of ERP systems for the 4th consecutive year! The audience voted and our ERP system emerged as a winner with 47% votes. We competed against Microsoft, IFS, SAP, and Jeeves. Second place went to Microsoft and IFS took third place.

Every year, Monitor teams up with our sales automation partner, Publikator, to run a customer satisfaction survey on the Swedish market within the manufacturing industry, with the aim of charting our position on the ERP system landscape.

If you want to have satisfied customers, you must have satisfied employees. Monitor performs regular employee satisfaction surveys to find out where there is room for improvement. “I’d say it’s essential for any company to work actively with employee satisfaction surveys,” explains Pär-Ola Gustavsson, CFO at Monitor ERP System AB.

As the founder of Monitor ERP System, Åke Persson is synonymous with his audacious drive to do things differently and to challenge the status quo at that time. The year 2020 has been a turbulent one, with a burning desire to bring the company to new heights, the Monitor Malaysia team had geared up to grow the Malaysian team and go all out. This year started out with the strengthening of the Finance and Accounts department with the addition of a Finance & Accounts Manager.

This creates added value for all of our customers, as all the training we provide from now on is claimable under their HRDF fund (provided they're registered employers in HRDF).

Thursday saw Monitor ERP System AB receive the prestigious Export Hermes Award for 2021. The award was presented by the Fund for Export Development at its Export Development Day.

Monitor ERP was launched in Malaysia on April 10, 2019. The very same evening we proudly witnessed the signing ceremony between Monitor ERP Group Owner Mr Jörgen Persson and two new customers: Professional Tools And Dies, represented by Dato' Steven Lee, and Mah Sing Plastics Industries, represented by Mr. Lee Foo Keong. Last week saw both go live with Monitor ERP!

This week, our Managing Director Daniel Häggmark was invited to meet YB Darrel Leiking, the Minister of Industry and Trade. Many of the major Swedish companies such as IKEA, SAAB, SKF, Scania, Ericsson, and AstraZeneca were in attendance.
