Gebwell Oy switches to Monitor ERP in record time
The ERP system was upgraded to support the company's growth, internationalization and business process development.
As Gebwell Oy's business has grown, it has been important to develop ways of working and ensure that the systems are able to support future needs. An important step in this development was the upgrade of its ERP system to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and internationalizing company.

The new system chosen was Monitor ERP, whose easy integration and modern features—designed with the needs of the manufacturing industry in mind—support Gebwell's business expansion and boost their efficiency. ERP is a system that integrates and automates key business processes such as sales, manufacturing, stock, accounting, and human resource management. It gives the company a real-time overview of its operations, improves data quality, and speeds up decision-making.

The aim was to implement a system that improves customer service, streamlines production, and allows flexibility in ever-changing conditions," explains Joni Räsänen, CTO of Gebwell Oy.
Commissioning in record time
The project was launched in autumn 2024 by Gebwell's project team and Monitor ERP Finland's experts. It ran smoothly: the system was successfully implemented in both Finnish and Swedish operations in May 2025. The project progressed in a structured manner, from kick-off meetings to process-specific workshops, system definition, and user training. Gebwell's project team was able to test the system immediately in the Monitor ERP test environment, where the company product, customer, and supplier data were transferred.
The ERP upgrade covered the entire Gebwell Group: the parent company Gebwell Oy and its subsidiaries Pivaset Oy and Gebwell AB (Sweden). The new system was implemented across five factories and seven locations, including production plants, technical support, and sales offices. Due to its company size, the project required a high degree of flexibility, integrated data management, and seamless usability between the different units.

The new ERP system impacts the whole organization. When it was introduced, employees received extensive training, and it now helps streamline daily processes, improve data quality, and enhance customer service efficiency.

Gebwell Oy is a Finnish company specializing in environmentally-friendly heating and cooling solutions for buildings. The company manufactures district heating distribution centers, heat pumps, and heat accumulators in Leppävirra, i.e. the company provides solutions for district heating as well as geothermal heating and the utilization of various types of waste heat for heating purposes.
