Important information for users of the API in Monitor ERP
We would like to remind you that, as previously communicated via e-mail and in the agreement, there is an important licensing condition regarding the usage of your “Monitor Full Access API”:
If “Monitor Full Access API” is being used to write to the Monitor ERP system, by another party's application, all of the application's users/clients must have their own API license in the ERP system.
This means that if your integration writes data to Monitor ERP, each individual user in the external system must also have a Monitor API license.
New license check in Monitor ERP version 25.9
To ensure correct license usage and maintain stable operations, we are introducing an enhanced and expanded license check in the API, starting from Monitor ERP version 25.9. This means that:
- For all reporting calls to the API (for example operation reporting, delivery reporting, and arrival reporting) where an employee number is used, the specified employee must be linked to a user, and that user must have a valid license.
- If a license is missing for a specific user/employee, the request will fail.
How to check your API licenses
You can easily see how many API users you have available in Monitor ERP by going to: Backstage → About → Licenses, in your system.
We want to emphasize the importance of adhering to the above licensing conditions to avoid disruption in your integrations. By ensuring that all users are properly licensed, you help maintain a stable and secure system – and enable us to continue providing service and support of the highest quality.
