BM Silo is now live with Monitor ERP - strong collaboration creates strong results
November 3 marked an important milestone for BM Silo, which has now gone live with Monitor ERP. The process has been characterized by close collaboration, great commitment and a shared ambition to reach the goal of creating a more efficient and digital foundation for the future.
A natural choice for manufacturing companies
BM Silo, with more than 60 years of experience as a manufacturer of high-quality storage solutions, has in recent years been on a journey towards increased professionalization and digitalization.
Director Lisbeth explains:
"We needed a system that understood our reality as a manufacturing company. Many ERP systems are based on finance, but Monitor stands out by being based on production. For us, choosing Monitor was a no-brainer. The entire project has been professionally managed and we have gained a lot of value from the collaboration."
Project Manager Vivian had no doubt that Monitor ERP was the right choice for them - especially after asking other Monitor users:
"When we had to choose between Monitor and another system, we visited other manufacturing companies using Monitor. We have yet to meet anyone who had anything negative to say about Monitor. It turned out to be the right choice and I have already recommended Monitor to others."
Choosing Monitor was a no-brainer for us. The entire project has been professionally managed and we have gained a lot of value from the collaboration.
Strong collaboration and high professionalism
The entire project team at BM Silo highlights the collaboration with the Monitor team - especially MPS consultant Monica, who has been the project manager for the implementation.
"She has been incredibly competent and understood our needs to the letter, and it's been great to not feel like you're just another project, but that you're dealing with people who care as much as we do," Lisbeth says, adding:
"The other systems we considered were very IT technical and they didn't know our needs in the same way. For us, it has made a significant difference that we have a project manager who has worked in a manufacturing company. It has given us peace of mind and ensured that we now have the best possible result."
Vivian, project manager and responsible for the implementation, also highlights the close collaboration:
"It's been really exciting and we've been looking forward to this for a long time. The whole team from Monitor has been super professional - we've felt in safe hands from start to finish. Today, on go-live, 90% is already working as it should, and that says everything about how good the project team has been - both from BM Silo and Monitor ERP."
Focus on production - and on the future
For Production Manager Mikkel, the implementation has already created value:
"Before, when we needed to check capacity in production, it was like looking into a black box. With Monitor, we now have a platform that gives us the overview we needed. Monitor is a system developed for production and it makes a huge difference."
There has also been targeted work with Monitor's Product Configurator, which several members of the project group highlight as one of the major benefits of the process.
"It's been exciting to get the configurator working - and it has given us a much better understanding of our own processes," says Carsten from the sales department.

A journey that continues
Although go-live marks the end of the implementation, it is only the beginning of the digital journey for BM Silo.
"The most important thing now is that we continue to learn and develop," says Vivian.
And BM Silo is not alone. Monica Nielsen from Monitor also has only positive things to share about the project and looks forward to helping BM Silo move forward.
"It's been a fantastic project - largely because I've been met by a project team from BM Silo that has shown great commitment, curiosity and been open to the new system throughout. It has been a rewarding collaboration where we have really learned a lot from each other. I look forward to continuing the collaboration and helping them on their journey with Monitor."
