The production day at Vesivek starts with the click of a button from a customer.
The order placed via the online shop is transferred directly to Monitor ERP, and the production machinery starts up immediately.

The automated robotic cells integrated into Monitor are at the heart of the production line. They report directly on what and how much has been produced.
Monitor and the robotic cells work in close cooperation: "we check the orders in Monitor, start the robots and they in turn transmit all production quantities and possible errors back to the system," says Petra Keränen, Production Engineer at Vesivek.

Smooth collection and flawless delivery
Once the products are ready, we move on to collection. Using a handheld barcode scanner that is fully integrated with Monitor ensures that the process goes smoothly.
"Once the collection is opened, we can immediately see the products, shelf space and quantities of the collection. Products and shelf locations are scanned in order and balances are automatically updated. If the wrong product or location is scanned, the system notifies you immediately," says Ville Pussinen, a Dispatch Worker at Vesivek.
This reduces the number of complaints and ensures that the right product always goes to the right customer.
Delivery and customer service go hand in hand
Once the products have been collected and packed, customer service receives a real-time notification.
Heidi Käyhkö, Logistics Manager, explains that when the waybill is generated, the goods are loaded onto the truck and delivered to the customer.
The system automatically sends a dispatch note and a delivery notification, allowing the customer to track the order in real time.
This translates into excellent delivery reliability for the customer and Vesivek is able to keep its promise: the goods are delivered within three days of the customer placing the order.
