Monitor ERP doubles revenue in five years – surpasses SEK 1 billion

Monitor ERP has reached a historic milestone. In August, the company surpassed SEK 1 billion in revenue on a rolling 12-month basis for the first time. This means Monitor has achieved the goal set in 2021 – to double revenue from SEK 500 million and reach the SEK 1 billion mark by 2026.

When Monitor ERP set its SEK 1 billion revenue target, the ambition went beyond financial growth. At the same time, the company aimed to build a stronger international organisation, advance its technology and create a more scalable business with the capacity for continued expansion.

Over the past five years, Monitor has therefore made significant investments across several areas of the business. The company has strengthened its international presence, developed its sales and marketing organisation, and established its own subsidiaries in countries including Germany, Indonesia and the United Kingdom.

In parallel, major investments have been made in Monitor ERP and its technology platform. Web-based technology, cloud services, increased localisation and new solutions have all played an important role in this development. At the same time, Monitor has taken significant steps in its transformation from a traditional software provider into a modern SaaS provider.

“Surpassing SEK 1 billion is a fantastic milestone. When Monitor was founded in 1974, we could never have imagined the journey ahead of us. But one thing has remained constant – by developing the software ourselves and keeping both implementation and support in-house, we have built a concept that creates real value for our customers. It has given us an understanding of their day-to-day operations that I believe has been an important part of our success. This is the result of the collective achievements of our employees and proof that our concept stands the test of time,” says Morgan Persson, CEO of Monitor ERP Group.

The development has also extended to Monitor’s support and consulting operations. The international organisation has been expanded, new expertise has been added, and working methods have been harmonised across markets to ensure a consistently high level of service for customers, regardless of country.

“This shows that the long-term strategy we chose is working and gives us a strong platform for the next step. We see significant opportunities to continue growing internationally while helping more manufacturing companies become more efficient, competitive and better prepared for the future,” says Morgan Persson, CEO of Monitor ERP Group.

Having achieved its SEK 1 billion target, Monitor is now turning its attention to its next long-term ambition: reaching SEK 2.5 billion in revenue by 2030. Continued international expansion, technological innovation and further development of Monitor ERP will be central to the company’s continued growth journey.

“Above all, this is the result of the dedication and expertise of our employees and the trust our customers place in us. We are proud to have reached the SEK 1 billion mark, but even more motivated by the opportunities ahead. Now the next chapter in our history begins,” says Morgan Persson, CEO of Monitor ERP Group.
