Wikinggruppen commits to its own platform with Monitor ERP as new co-owner

Wikinggruppen, one of Sweden’s leading providers of e-commerce solutions, is changing ownership. The current management team is purchasing the company together with former founder Jonte Bergman and Monitor ERP, renewing focus on the Swedish market, the development of Wikinggruppen’s own platform, and strengthened local roots in Hudiksvall.

As of April 2026, Wikinggruppen will have a new ownership structure consisting of Albin Jansson, Caroline Berg, and Johan Söderberg from the company’s management team, former owner and founder Jonte Bergman, and Monitor ERP.

“By standing on our own, we can accelerate the development of Wikinggruppen’s platform. Operating independently allows us to take a new approach and gives us greater opportunities to continue building on our strengths,” says Albin Jansson, CEO of Wikinggruppen.

Strategic partnership with Monitor ERP

The fact that Hudiksvall-based Monitor ERP, which specializes in ERP systems for the manufacturing industry, is becoming a co-owner strengthens the local presence in Hudiksvall and promotes technological synergy. A futher integration between Wikinggruppen’s e-commerce platform and Monitor’s ERP system is planned to create a seamless flow for joint customers.

Jonte Bergman, who founded the company in 1998, is now returning as co-owner and Chairman of the Board and will take on an operational role in the business.
