The number of new recruits in Sweden increased by 10 percent – taking the workforce here from 224 to 246 employees – which was the highest yearly increase ever. And the Group as a whole grew from 305 to 334 staff in total.  

– We're really proud to have beaten our sales record again in 2021, and continue to grow, despite the pandemic. Ahead of the 2019 business year we set a long-term goal to double our turnover within five years. There's much to indicate we'll hit this target in 2023, CEO of Monitor ERP System.

Lots of manufacturing companies chose to invest in MONITOR G5 during 2021. Customers who wanted to improve their processes, take full control of their operations, and save time through increased automation. Many of Monitor's existing customers also decided to upgrade from G4 to G5, to increase their number of users and add a range of options such as Electronic Invoice Management (EIM) and Machine Integration (MI). Sales Manager Johan Holmsten sees a lot of companies in the manufacturing industry that want to invest in the future – which makes MONITOR G5 the logical choice. 

– We've had a lot of sales success across many markets. Our position in Sweden is really strong, and surveys show that customers are most satisfied with our ERP system. We have a really good reputation in Sweden, he says. 

Over the next five years, Monitor will need to employ around two-hundred people across the Group. In Sweden, developers and support staff will be needed in the Hudiksvall and Gävle offices, while consultants will be required nationwide.

Monitor is currently focusing strongly on leadership, training and onboarding processes to make sure new recruits get a good start and quickly become part of the team. 

– The bigger we grow, the greater the demands on our leadership and HR processes. It seems as if a lot of people are interested in working here, but one of our biggest challenges moving forward is to recruit the right staff. We need to bring in developers, of which there's a shortage in Sweden as a whole, says Lena Eriksson, HR. 

Johannes Palm Myllylä has just started working at Monitor as a developer. After around two weeks with the company, he says he's been well looked after by the team and his mentor, and that there's a lot to learn. Johannes didn't know that much about the company before applying for the post, but felt that MONITOR G5 would be an exciting product to work with. He also had the impression Monitor took good care of its staff. 

– I had a feeling that Monitor was a company that thinks in the long term, and I think I could sense some of the famous Monitor spirit during my interview. That was what made me choose Monitor ahead of other alternatives, he explains.

Joanna Pohl has just started her second spell with the Monitor Support Center. She decided to come back for a number of reasons, but mostly due to the friendly staff.    

– We spend a lot of our time at work, so our colleagues and the way we're treated are important. I've never had nicer colleagues than the people I work with at Monitor, and I've never worked at a company which is so committed to quality, says Joanna.
